CyanIDE V1.4 is here

 

CYAN Technology´s CyanIDE V1.4 has been released and is now available for download from www.cyantechnology.com along with the full eCOG1X user manual and USB manuals.

CyanIDE V1.4 has been updated to cater for the new eCOG1X microcontrollers and is now more user friendly and time saving than ever before.

New features in CyanIDE version 1.4 include:


Configurator support for eCOG1X

  • Full configuration support for all eCOG1X device variants in all packages
  • New SwitchChip™ function to change from one device to another
  • Icons that change when a different device is selected showing available peripherals automatically
  • New property setup dialogues for all eCOG1X peripheral functions
  • New conflict explorer provides detailed information about peripheral routing conflicts
  • New code generation for run-time initialization of all eCOG1X peripherals
  • New display zoom function for chip diagram
  • Library support code for the USB peripheral is automatically included in the project when the peripheral is added
  • Software configuration options for the USB peripheral support library can be set from the peripheral property dialogue box

 

Compiler/Linker

  • Now checks all data segment sizes against map file


Debugger

  • New function to export watch window information to a text file


To coincide with the release of the new version of CyanIDE, CYAN Technology has updated the tools and documentation CDs to include CyanIDE V1.4 and updated the application notes and product manuals.
