New Addition to GLYN Linecard: AVERLOGIC

GLYN is extending its distribution program with memory and video processing circuits from AVERLOGIC Technologies, a semiconductor company with headquarters in Taipei, Taiwan.

AVERLOGIC´s products will be distributed by GLYN in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Denmark, Norway, Sweden, Finland, Iceland, Poland, the Czech Republic, Hungary and Bulgaria.

The Taiwanese manufacturer utilizes advanced CMOS technology and its own mixed signal design expertise to market a full range of solutions with a wealth of features.

Active Matrix OLEDs from CMEL

Chi Mei EL Corporation (CMEL), a subsidiary of Chi Mei Group, is specialised in the production of small and medium-sized OLED (Organic Light-Emitting Diode) panels.

Due to Chi Mei Optoelectronics´ long-standing experience in producing Active Matrix LC-displays, CMEL focuses on Active Matrix OLED products (AM-OLED). The Taiwanese manufacturer produces these displays in sizes ranging from 2“ to 4.3“. 5.5” and 7.6” displays are under development and have already partly gone into production for original equipment manufacturers.

GLYN offers HENGSTLER´s Wide Voltage Range X-80 Thermal Printer, one of the most versatile printers around! Handling a paper width of 60-86 mm, the X-80 printer prints at speeds of up to 250 mm/second (9.8 inches/second)! An autocutter is standard, with versions that can cut up to 300 g/m² paper stock.

The design includes an integrated chute that protrudes from the front of your panel, making mounting and integration simple. A jam sensor detects paper jams and stops printing.

GLYN has been supplying Swissbit SO DIMM modules from its product range for two years. These modules excel in extended specification and high-quality manufacturing process; their product reviews speak for themselves.

SWISSBIT has extended its product range to CF cards and other flash modules – USB sticks and USB disk controllers – developed and manufactured in Germany for industrial applications. The company has announced plans to introduce additional products.

UMTS Plug&Play-Modem from WAVECOM

Download speeds of up to 7.2Mbit/s using HSDPA

WAVECOM has extended its established FASTBACK series with its new FASTRACK Extreme UMTS modem. WCDMA and HSDPA are now supported in addition to the established mobile communications technologies, GSM/GPRS and EDGE.
 
FASTRACK Extreme is equipped with an ARM9 processor together with an Icera Livanto Soft Baseband modem. HSDPA technology allows data transfer speeds of up to 7.2Mbit/s.
